DANIELLE MODELEWSKI “Dani” is our newest addition, taking on the role of Customer Service

sneaky-funny sense of humor, she has been a wonderful addition. Dani also oversees our Shipping

Safe Patient Handling Specialists:

JOHN BELL has been professionally caring for Hickory’s clients since 1996. A Virginia Tech grad,
means “no calls” on Saturdays in the Fall. Once you meet John, you’ll know that you could not be in
better hands.

MIKE MARSTON is our Carolina Regional Manager and resides just outside Charlotte. He brings decades of experience serving healthcare providers Mike is a high energy, personable, sincerely caring, and talkative guy who loves to help others.

CHRIS HIPP has been a great find! His career in institutional security, surveillance, and nurse call has made him a walking fount of problem solving talent. Chris is instrumental in every installation of our wandering, nurse access control, RTLS, and surveillance designs. It doesn’t appear that there is anything he doesn’t know, and his diagnostic and problem-solving skills are something to behold.

ANTHONY MANZA started with us in 2006 as an installer of our Secure Care wandering control systems.  What became apparent quickly was his very desirable combination of gifts and skills.  Blessed with terrific diagnostic and out-of-the-box problem-solving abilities, Anthony embraced responsibility for the Vancare electric lifts that are used by hundreds of our clients in NJ, Eastern PA and Delaware.  Anthony oversees the PM Inspection Programs that many clients have contracted us to perform 1-4 times each year, as well as any service calls in the region.  What everyone appreciates is his delightful spirit, sense-of-humor, and his passionate faith in God.  We are proud of Anthony and love having him as a Teammate.

PAUL LEVY is another talented, dedicated, and delightful part of our Service Team. He and his competent helpers service our lift clients in Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina. With his decades of experience, Paul and his team provide service calls, inspections, and calibration of their scales. Many clients, including the larger regional multi-facility organizations use him for scheduled P.M. services, even calibrating their physical medicine and vital monitoring equipment. You will appreciate for sure their attention to detail….all in a professional and courteous manner. We are all blessed by Paul and his team!

In Memory of Jerry Piszkowski

Just before Christmas 2016, a beloved member of our Hickory Team, and cherished Friend was lost. Jerry Piszkowski was our Vancare Lift Service Manager for seven years. But “lost” is not the right word. If you knew Jerry, and his caring heart, you know where he is. Scripture says “absent from the body, is to be present with The Lord”. Jerry led a life of selfless service, including a challenging stint in the US Navy. He was Blessed with many gifts and skills, all of which were focused on helping others. Jerry could fix anything, and his Joy came from doing it without spending a penny more than necessary. Friends and family would talk about Jerry being unusually stubborn. More accurately, he was a man of conviction, and memorable tenacity. For his last 20 years, his primary goal was to support and encourage his son Jeremy. If we can be judged by our fruit, Jerry has borne wonderful fruit. Mission accomplished Jerry, but Boy are you missed! Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
